Read to Thrive
Improve reading in middle and high school students through a competitive process that is on par with STEM
what we do
We build a better future.
The mission is focused on implementing strategies and initiatives aimed at enhancing the reading abilities of students who are in middle and high school. The goal is to improve their overall reading comprehension, fluency, and critical thinking skills.
Observation
Reading is given secondary importance over STEM and other career oriented studies, right from middle school. Hence, reading and associated scores have been falling for the last 20 years.

What is Lacking
Lack of a competitive test
Currently there is no competitive exam(s) for middle and high school students exclusively for reading comprehension e.g. like AMC to test mathematics competency at middle and high school level.
There is a need for such a test too...
- Motivate kids to pick competitive reading and general reading
- Incentivize kids with reading related awards – audible, kindle for exam scores
- Promote volunteering opportunities for kids contributing to this cause
